A working set of twelve black plastic sectioning clips built on the classic duck bill shape: a long, gently curved upper arm tapering to a rounded tip, hinged on a metal pivot against a shorter lower jaw. The full length of the inner face is serrated, so hair is held along the entire arm rather than pinched at one point — sections stay put through cutting, colouring and blow-drying instead of sliding loose. The slim profile keeps crease marks to a minimum, and the smooth gloss finish wipes down between clients.

How to Use

1. Comb out the section you want to isolate.
2. Squeeze the pivot end to open the clip.
3. Slide the open jaws over the section at the root, keeping the arm flat against the head.
4. Release to close. The serrated inner edge grips along the full length of the arm.
5. To remove, squeeze the pivot end again and lift the clip away rather than pulling it out of the hair.

Cautions

• For professional and adult use. Not a toy — keep away from children.
• Do not use as a heat-resistant clip. These are not rated for heat, so keep them out of hood dryers and away from irons, tongs and other direct heat sources unless the manufacturer confirms a heat rating.
• Do not force the arms open beyond their natural range — over-flexing can crack the plastic or loosen the pivot.
• Check clips before each use and take any with cracks, chips or a loose pivot out of service.
• Rinse and wipe clean after contact with colour, bleach or perm chemistry. Do not leave the clips soaking in salon chemicals.
• Do not use on the hair if any part of the plastic has cracked or splintered.

Storage

Wipe clean and dry before storing. Keep in a clip pot, drawer or tool tray away from direct heat and direct sunlight, both of which can weaken plastic over time. Store closed rather than propped open so the spring keeps its tension.
