The workhorse salon clip, in a set of ten. A wide wave-toothed jaw grips a full section across its whole width rather than pinching at a point, and the deep bite takes thick hair without straining the spring. The raised, pin-textured thumb pad sits exactly where your thumb lands, so the clip opens cleanly one-handed even when your fingers are wet with product. Twin metal pivots give a firm, repeatable close, and an open cut-out through the body keeps the clip light in the hand through a full head of sectioning.

What's Included

10 x Crocodile Sectioning Clips.

Colour is allocated at random from the four colourways stocked — black, purple, yellow and pink — and cannot be selected at checkout. Each pack contains ten clips of a single colour. All colours are the same clip.

How to Use

1. Comb out the section you want to isolate.
2. Press the textured thumb pad to open the jaw.
3. Slide the open jaw over the section at the root, keeping the body flat against the head.
4. Release to close. The wave teeth grip across the full width of the jaw.
5. To remove, press the pad again and lift the clip away rather than pulling it out of the hair.

Cautions

• For professional and adult use. Not a toy — keep away from children.
• Do not use as a heat-resistant clip. These are not rated for heat, so keep them out of hood dryers and away from irons, tongs and other direct heat sources unless the manufacturer confirms a heat rating.
• The pivots are metal. If your colour or lightener instructions specify no metal tools during processing, check before use — some lightening products carry that warning.
• Do not force the jaw open beyond its natural range. Over-flexing cracks the plastic and loosens the pivots.
• Check clips before each use and retire any with cracks, a bent or chipped jaw, or a loose pivot.
• Rinse and wipe clean after contact with colour, bleach or perm chemistry. Do not leave the clips soaking in salon chemicals.

Storage

Wipe clean and dry before storing, paying attention to the pivots where moisture collects. Keep in a clip pot, drawer or tool tray away from direct heat and direct sunlight. Store closed rather than propped open so the spring keeps its tension.
