A soft, split-tuft bristle head that lays colour in a diffused, graduated finish rather than a hard block.

A wide crescent-headed colouring brush with a deliberately feathered bristle set — the tufts are separated at the base rather than packed into a solid wall, so product goes down broken and graduated instead of in one flat layer. That makes it the brush for freehand and balayage work where you want a soft transition with no visible start line, and it's equally useful for surface application, glossing and toning across a wide section. The fine multicolour bristles are soft and flexible, the broad flat shoulder gives your hand somewhere natural to sit, and the handle tapers to a long fine point for parting without swapping tools. Two head widths cover fine detail through to full-panel work.

What's Included

Choose your size:

Both sizes share the same head shape, bristle type, handle design and tapered tail. Only the scale changes — S for tighter, more controlled placement, M for covering a full panel in fewer passes.

How to Use

1. Mix your colour, lightener, gloss or toner to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Part and lift your section with the pointed tail.
3. Load the brush lightly — this head works best with less product than a solid tint brush, so the feathering can do its job.
4. For balayage and freehand work, sweep the brush along the surface of the section with a light hand, feathering out towards the ends so the transition stays soft.
5. For a fuller application, work in overlapping strokes across the width of the section.
6. Rinse thoroughly under running water immediately after use, working through the bristles until the water runs clear.

Cautions

• For professional and adult use. Keep away from children.
• This brush is a tool, not protection. Always wear suitable gloves when handling colour, lightener, toner or any other salon chemistry.
• Clean immediately after use. Product left to dry in a feathered bristle set is much harder to remove than from a solid head, and it will bind the tufts together permanently.
• Do not leave the brush standing or soaking in product, solvent or salon chemicals.
• Do not use the pointed tail against the scalp with any pressure — part with it, don't push with it.
• Inspect before each use. Retire the brush if the bristles are shedding, permanently splayed or hardened with residue, or if the handle is cracked.

Storage

Rinse clean and shake out the excess, then store bristles-up or lying flat so the feathered tufts keep their separation — standing a wet brush bristles-down will bend and merge the tufts, which is exactly the property you're paying for. Keep away from direct heat and direct sunlight.
