Staggered multi-row teeth that grip and lift — the comb for backcombing, volume and root height.

A teasing comb built around a staggered multi-row tooth head. Longer teeth in the body colour run along the outer edge, with shorter, finer teeth in the contrast colour set between them, so each pass catches the hair at more than one depth instead of sliding through it. That's what makes the difference between hair that lifts and holds and hair that flattens again the moment you let go. The head runs into a long, finely tapered tail for parting, lifting and directing sections without reaching for a second tool, and the two-tone moulding makes the tooth structure easy to see when you're working close.

What's Included

How to Use

1. Work on dry hair. Take a clean section and hold it up and away from the head.
2. Insert the comb into the section a short way down from the root.
3. Push down towards the root in short, controlled strokes, letting the staggered teeth catch the hair. Do not saw back and forth.
4. Repeat in layers, building height gradually rather than forcing it in one pass.
5. Smooth the surface layer over the teased base with the tips of the teeth.
6. Use the tail to part, lift and direct sections as you work.
7. When taking the style down, work through gently from the ends upwards with a wide-tooth comb before washing.

Cautions

• For professional and adult use. Keep away from children.
• The tail is finely pointed. Use it to part and lift — never push it against the scalp.
• Teasing places the hair under tension. Work gently, build in layers, and take extra care on fine, fragile or chemically treated hair.
• Do not force the comb through tangles or knots. Detangle first, then tease.
• Do not use as a heat-resistant comb unless the manufacturer confirms it is rated for that. Keep it away from irons, tongs and direct dryer heat.
• Inspect before each use and retire the comb if any tooth is bent, chipped or missing, or if the body is cracked.
• Rinse and wipe clean after contact with product, colour or bleach. Do not leave soaking in salon chemicals.

Storage

Wipe clean and dry before storing. Keep in a tool tray, drawer or apron pocket away from direct heat and direct sunlight, both of which weaken plastic over time. Store flat so the tail stays straight.
