The Wahl Professional 5-Star Vapor is a rechargeable cord/cordless hair clipper with a marbled purple, magenta and orange finish. It uses the F32 Fadeout blade, adjustable from 0.5 to 1.2 mm with a metal taper lever, for bald-to-fade work. It comes with seven metal-clip guide combs, a styling comb, a power adaptor, a cleaning brush and blade oil.

How to Use

1. Charge fully before first use, with the clipper switched off. Plug the power cord into the clipper first, then into the outlet.
2. Switch on with the on/off switch, and switch off after use.
3. Use the taper lever to change the cut. With the lever fully up, the blade gives its closest cut. Pushing it down gradually increases the cutting length.
4. For a longer cut, attach a guide comb.
5. If battery power is low, you can plug in the power cord and keep working. If the battery has run down completely, charge for 1 minute with the clipper off before using it corded.

• Solid: in use, or fully charged
• Flashing: about 20% charge remaining
• Pulsing: charging
• 5 quick flashes: heavy blade load detected and the unit has locked out (see Cleaning below)

Cautions

• Keep the appliance dry. Do not use it in the bath or shower, and do not place or store it where it could fall into water.
• Unplug from the outlet immediately after charging.
• Use only the supplied power supply.
• Blades may become hot after prolonged use.
• Do not use with a damaged or broken blade or comb, as it may cause injury.
• Do not charge or use below 0°C or above 45°C, and avoid direct sunlight.
• The battery is not replaceable. Do not disassemble, pierce, crush, heat or burn the clipper.
• For cutting human hair, beard and eyebrows only.
• Children aged 14 and above may use it with supervision. Children should not play with it.
• Do not use bleach, benzene or thinners on the appliance.
• Dispose of the battery at a proper collection point, not in household waste.

Cleaning and Storage

• After each use, remove the comb and brush loose hair from the blade and housing.
• Oil the blade often. Put one drop at each end and one in the centre of the top blade, run the clipper for a moment, then wipe away excess oil.
• Wipe the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• If the LED flashes 5 times, switch off, check the blade for debris, clean and oil it, then plug in the charger to reset.
• Store away from direct sunlight, switched off, with the cord loosely coiled and not twisted.
