The Wahl Professional 5-Star Vapor CE (Championship Edition) is a rechargeable cord/cordless clipper with a pearl white body, a black textured grip and a gold accent. It uses the F32 Fadeout blade, adjustable from 0.5 to 1.2 mm, with a taper lever for closer or longer cuts. It comes with seven metal-clip guide combs, a flat-top clipper comb, a power adaptor, a cleaning brush and blade oil.

How to Use

1. Charge for 60 minutes before first use, with the clipper switched off. Plug the power cord into the clipper first, then into the outlet.
2. Switch on with the on/off switch, and switch off after use.
3. Use the taper lever to change the cut. With the lever fully up, the blade gives its closest cut. Pushing it down gradually increases the cutting length.
4. For a longer cut, clip on a guide comb.
5. If the battery runs low, plug in the power cord and keep working. If the battery has run down completely, charge for 1 minute with the clipper switched off before using it corded.

LED indicator

• Solid: in use, or fully charged
• Flashing: about 20% charge remaining
• Pulsing: charging
• 5 quick flashes: heavy blade load detected and the unit has locked out. Switch off, check the blade for debris, clean and oil it, then plug in the charger to reset.

Cautions

• Keep the appliance dry. Do not use it while bathing or in a shower, and do not place or store it where it could fall into water.
• For use on human hair, beard and eyebrows only. For commercial use.
• Unplug from the outlet immediately after charging.
• Use only the supplied power supply.
• Charge, use and store between 0°C and 45°C, and avoid direct sunlight.
• Cutting blades may become hot after prolonged use.
• Do not use with a damaged or broken blade or comb.
• Do not use outdoors or while aerosol (spray) products are being used.
• The battery is not user-replaceable. Do not disassemble, pierce, crush, heat or burn the appliance.
• Children aged 14 and above may use it with supervision. Children should not play with it, and cleaning should not be done by children without supervision.
• Do not use bleach, benzene, thinners, solvents or scouring agents.
• Dispose of the battery at a proper collection point, not in household waste.

Cleaning and Storage

• After each use, remove the guide comb and brush loose hair from the blade and housing.
• Oil the blade often. Put one drop in the centre of the top blade and one drop at each end, switch on briefly, then wipe away excess oil.
• Wipe the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Always switch off before storing.
• Do not wind the cord around the clipper. Keep it untwisted.
