The VIC+ Master Cutting Collar is a flexible, ultra-smooth collar that sits around the client's neck and over the shoulders during a cut. The wide back panel covers the nape, and the two arms rest forward over the shoulders. Short hair slides off the smooth surface instead of working its way under the cape and down the neck. It is waterproof and anti-static, comes in a universal size, and its precise 3-D moulded shape follows the line of the neck and shoulders so it stays comfortable for the whole service. It's a patented, registered VIC+ design, part of the VIC+ SecretTools range.

How to Use

1. Seat the client and fit the cutting cape as usual.
2. Place the collar over the cape at the neckline. The wide panel should sit across the back of the neck, with the arms resting forward over each shoulder.
3. Adjust it so the collar sits close to the neckline without pressing on it.
4. During the cut, brush clippings off the smooth surface as needed.
5. After the service, lift the collar away carefully so the hair falls off, then rinse or wipe it clean and dry it before the next client.

Cautions

• Clean the collar between every client. It sits directly against the neck and skin.
• No heat rating is stated. Keep it away from hot tools such as irons, dryers set on high heat, and heated combs.
• Take care with scissors, razors and clipper blades near the collar, because cuts or nicks will damage the smooth surface.
• If the collar is used during colour or chemical services, wipe off any product promptly.
• Stop using the collar on a client who reports discomfort or skin irritation.

Storage

Store the collar clean and dry, either flat or on its display card, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
