A wide, flat neck collar with a magnetic front closure. On in a second, off in a second.

A round cutting collar that sits flat around the neck and across the shoulders, catching clippings on its smooth surface so they don't fall inside the cape. It measures 40.5cm across, with a 13.5cm-wide band that gives generous coverage over the collarbone, shoulders and upper back. A slit at the front opens the collar to slip around the neck, and magnets set into both front flaps hold it closed. There are no ties or fasteners to fiddle with. The magnets are spaced along the flaps, so the closure can sit in more than one position to suit different necks.

How to Use

1. Seat the client and fit the cutting cape as usual.
2. Open the front slit and place the collar around the neck, over the cape.
3. Overlap the front flaps and let the magnets close the collar, choosing the position that sits comfortably without pressing on the neck.
4. During the cut, brush clippings off the surface as needed.
5. To remove, separate the flaps at the front, lift the collar away, and shake or wipe it clean.

Cautions

• This product contains magnets. Keep it away from anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, and away from bank cards and electronic devices.
• Check before each use that all the magnets are firmly seated. Stop using the collar if a magnet comes loose. A loose magnet is a swallowing hazard, so keep the collar out of reach of children.
• Clean the collar between every client, because it sits directly against the neck.
• No heat rating is stated. Keep the collar away from hot tools such as irons, straighteners and dryers set on high heat.
• Take care with scissors, razors and clipper blades near the collar, because cuts will damage the surface.

Storage

Store the collar flat, clean and dry, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it away from bank cards and electronic devices.
