The Solis Magma is a professional-series hair dryer built for frequent use. It has 2000 W of power, two speed settings, four heat settings, a cold shot button and a removable hair filter. The ergonomic handle, a 2.8 m cable and a hanging loop make it easy to use and store at the station.

How to Use

1. Plug in and set the rocker switches to the speed and heat you want.
2. Dry and style as usual. Fit the styling nozzle to the front for precise drying or brushing.
3. Press the cold shot button to set your style.
4. Switch off and unplug after use.

Cautions

• Follow the voltage and current shown on the type plate.
• Never use near bathtubs, basins or other water. Not suitable for use in a bath or shower.
• Keep it dry and don’t use it with wet hands. If you put it down while using it, switch it off first.
• If it falls into water, pull the plug out immediately and never put your hand into the water.
• Keep it out of range when using sprays or atomisers.
• The mesh at the air outlet gets hot in normal use. Keep the cable away from the air outlet.
• Never cover the air intake or outlet.
• Do not wind the cable tightly around the dryer.
• Use indoors only. Unplug after use, especially in a bathroom.
• If the cord or plug is damaged, have it checked by Solis or an authorised service centre.
• Children must be supervised and must not play with it. Don’t let children or unsupervised people clean or maintain it.
• A residual current device (RCD) of no more than 30 mA is recommended.

Storage and care

• Disconnect from the mains before cleaning. Never immerse in water.
• Clean the air intake regularly with a brush to remove dust and hair.
• To remove the air inlet grid, rotate it slightly to the left. Clean it with a brush, or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and dry it with a soft cloth. Rotate it back to the right to refit.
• Never refit the grid while it is wet.
• Hang it up using the loop.
