BLONDME Premium Lightener 9+ is Schwarzkopf Professional's high-lift lightener, reformulated with Advanced Neutralization and Anti-Metal Bond Protection. It lifts up to nine levels while reinforcing bonds within the hair fibre, and minimises breakage when used with BLONDME Premium Developer. The anti-metal technology targets metal traces that accumulate in hair from water and previous services — the usual cause of uneven lift and unexpected breakage on a big blonding job. Mixed at 1:1.5 to 1:2.5 depending on the result required, it works to a smooth cream and processes in 20 to 45 minutes without added heat. 450g tub with a resealable clip lid.

How to Use

1. Wear suitable gloves and work in a well-ventilated area. Do not shampoo the hair before the service — apply to dry hair.
2. Remove all metal objects from the hair, including clips and pins, and keep them away throughout the service. Do not use metal tools or bowls.
3. Mix with BLONDME Premium Developer 2%/7 Vol. or 6%/20 Vol. for on- or off-scalp work, or 9%/30 Vol. for off-scalp only, at a ratio between 1:1.5 and 1:2.5, until a smooth cream is achieved.
4. Apply immediately after mixing. Distribute evenly and use plenty of product — generous, even application is what gives the most consistent lift.
5. Avoid overlapping onto previously lightened hair.
6. Process for 20–45 minutes. Do not use a steamer or drying hood to shorten the processing time, and do not exceed the stated processing time.
7. Rinse the hair thoroughly, then shampoo and treat with BLONDME Care.

Note: adding a separate bonding system to the mix may compromise the lightener's performance.

Cautions

For professional use only. This product can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow the instructions.

Do not bleach the hair if the client has a rash on the face, or a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp, or has ever experienced any reaction after bleaching. Do not use on damaged hair. Do not use if the hair has been coloured with henna or metallic dyes. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows.

Wear suitable gloves and use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid unnecessary skin contact and wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not inhale or ingest the product. Keep out of reach of children.

This product contains ingredients which may cause severe eye irritation and possible permanent eye injury. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the lightening mixture enters the eye, flush immediately with a large amount of lukewarm water and seek medical advice. If the client is wearing contact lenses, have them remove the lens first, then flush immediately and seek medical advice.

If during lightening the client experiences any stinging or burning, or a rash appears, rinse immediately and discontinue use — this may indicate a more serious reaction. Do not lighten the hair again, and advise the client to consult a doctor.

If after use, or in the following days, the client experiences itching of the skin or scalp, a rash, swelling of the eyes or face, blistering, or weeping of the skin or scalp, direct them to seek immediate medical attention and contact the manufacturer.

Storage

Close the lid tightly after use. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. Keep out of reach of children.
