Shade Details
How to read a Majirel shade number
The number before the decimal point is the depth — how light or dark the result is, on a scale of 1 to 10. The digits after the point are the tone — the reflect. The first digit after the point is the dominant tone, the second is the secondary tone. So 7.43 is a level 7 blonde with a dominant copper reflect and a golden secondary.
A shade with no decimal (5, 7, 8) is a pure Natural. A shade written x.0 (5.0, 7.0, 8.0) is a Deep Natural, built for stronger, more opaque grey coverage.

Shade 0 Clear is a dilutor rather than a colour in its own right — use it to soften tone intensity, create lighter results, or dilute a shade for refreshing mid-lengths and ends.

How to Use
Professional use only. Always carry out a 48-hour allergy alert test before every colour service, and wear suitable disposable gloves throughout preparation, application and rinsing.
Mix 1 part Majirel with 1.5 parts L'Oréal Professionnel Oxydant Crème and apply immediately.

Red shades in the Carmilane family are formulated to be used on their own. Do not mix them with another Majirel shade — only with Majirel Clear, where dilution is required.
Cautions
Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. A 48-hour allergy alert test must be carried out before each use, even if the client has used this or another colourant before. Read and follow the instructions supplied with the product.

- Not intended for use on persons under the age of 16
- Wear suitable disposable gloves during preparation, application and rinsing
- Do not use if your client has a rash on the face, or a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp, or has ever reacted to a hair colourant
- Do not use on clients who have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo — these increase the risk of allergy
- Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows
- Avoid contact with eyes. If product enters the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly. Remove contact lenses first if worn
- Rinse hair well after application
- Wait at least 2 weeks after a relaxer, perm or straightening service before colouring
- Do not use on hair treated with henna or a progressive hair colourant
- Contains resorcinol, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines) and ammonia
- Keep out of reach of children
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the cap tightly closed. Use within 18 months of opening. Do not decant into unlabelled containers.
