A stainless steel foot file with 10 stick-on replacement grit pads, 5 coarse #80 and 5 fine #180, so you can fit a fresh filing surface for each use.

This foot file keeps the handle and replaces the abrasive. Stick a fresh grit pad onto each side of the stainless steel paddle, file away hard skin and calluses, then peel the pads off and throw them away. With the pads removed, the stainless steel handle can be cleaned and sterilised, which makes it a hygienic choice for salons doing pedicures for multiple clients. The thin, slightly flexible filing area reaches the heels, the balls of the feet and the spaces between the toes. A built-in thumb rest gives a comfortable, steady grip.

How to Use

Fitting the pads:

1. Peel the used pad off the file, if there is one.
2. Remove the backing from a new adhesive grit pad and press it firmly onto the filing area.
3. Fit a #80 pad on one side and a #180 pad on the other.

Filing:

1. Soak the feet in warm, soapy water to soften hard skin.
2. Pat the feet dry.
3. Use the coarse #80 side on the heels and balls of the feet, filing side to side.
4. Finish with the fine #180 side to smooth the skin.
5. Moisturise the feet afterwards.
6. Remove and throw away the used pads, then rinse the handle and lay it flat to dry.

Cautions

• Do not use on irritated, inflamed or infected skin, or on open wounds.
• Do not use if you are diabetic or have poor blood circulation.
• Do not use if the metal becomes rusted, bent or damaged, as injury may result.
• Consult a physician before use if you have any skin condition.
• Seek medical attention if the skin becomes severely irritated or bleeds.
• In a salon, fit fresh pads for each client, and clean and sterilise the handle between clients according to your salon’s hygiene procedures.

Storage

Store the handle clean and dry. Keep the unused grit pads in a dry place so the adhesive stays effective.
