The Codos A72 Apex is a rechargeable hair trimmer for detailing and outlining. An LCD shows motor speed and remaining run time, and the speed adjusts in 500 RPM steps across five settings. It comes with four guide combs and a charge stand, so it is ready to use at the chair or the bench.

How to Use

1. Charge the trimmer fully before first use. With the power switched off, plug the Type-C cable into the trimmer and connect it to a USB power source. The charging light turns on while charging and turns off when full.
2. To attach a comb, line up the comb slot with the blade head and push the comb on until it locks.
3. Switch on and press + or – to change speed. Each press changes the speed by 500 RPM, and the screen shows the remaining use time.
4. To remove a comb, place your thumb as shown in the manual and lift the comb away.
5. When the screen flashes the charging symbol, please charge. When it shows “LO”, charge immediately.

Cautions

• Do not use the product near water or in damp conditions.
• Do not wash it under running water. Wipe the body with a damp cloth using plain water or very mild liquid soap.
• Do not disassemble, repair or alter the unit yourself.
• Do not use or charge in very hot or very cold conditions. Best used at 5–40°C.
• Do not store near gasoline, alcohol, thinners or heat sources, or in direct sunlight.
• The unit may become slightly warm during charging or use.
• The blade gap is set at the factory. Adjust it only if you have a professional need, and make sure the moving blade never extends past the fixed blade, as it may hurt the skin.
• Switch off and unplug when not in use.
• Dispose of the battery and the unit at a proper collection point.

Cleaning and Storage

• Push the blade upward with your thumb to detach it, and brush away hair. Do not take apart the blade spring.
• Put a drop of the supplied oil on the points shown in the manual, then refit the blade until it clicks.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally on the charge stand or in its box.
