A long fine-tooth comb with a row of diamond cut-outs through the spine — lighter in the hand over a long cut.

A full-length cutting comb built for precision work. Fine, closely spaced teeth run almost the whole length, opening slightly at one end, giving you plenty of working surface for taking clean sections and combing hair flat before the cut. The row of diamond-shaped cut-outs down the spine takes weight out of the comb, which you notice by the end of a long session, and gives it a look that's hard to mistake for anything else on the station. The spine runs straight with a turned lip at each end, and the matte finish keeps its grip when your hands are wet. Model 193, in blue.

How to Use

1. Comb the hair through and take your section.
2. Lift the section on the fine teeth and cut against the comb.
3. Use the more open end where you need the comb to move through the hair more freely.
4. Rinse and wipe down after use, checking that no hair is caught in the spine cut-outs.

Cautions

Check the comb before each use and discard it if any tooth is cracked, bent or has a rough edge — a damaged tooth will snag and can scratch the scalp. Keep away from direct heat, hot irons and open flame. Do not use as a heat-resistant comb unless the manufacturer confirms it is rated for that. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Wash and dry after use, and store flat or hanging in a dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
